Singer Lim Young-woong, NiziU, actors Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon won the Popularity Award trophy at the global No. 1 awards ceremony 'AAA 2024'.
The '9th Asia Artist Awards' (hereinafter referred to as 'AAA 2024') announced on the 21st, "According to the results of the 'AAA 2024' popularity award voting held on the mobile idol fandom application 'Idol Champ' from 10 AM on the 4th to 11:59 PM on the 20th, Lim Young-woong (male singer), NiziU (female singer), Byun Woo-seok (male actor), and Kim Hye-yoon (female actress) took 1st place in each category."
The voting for the 'AAA 2024' Popularity Award, which selects the most popular star who shined in Asia in 2024, was hotter than ever. According to the final voting results, Lim Young-woong (951,052 votes, 51.4%), NiziU (266,638 votes, 49.4%), Byun Woo-seok (458,955 votes, 60.1%), and Kim Hye-yoon (351,708 votes, 70.4%), who received the most votes in each category, took home the 'AAA 2024' Popularity Award trophy.
In particular, Lim Young-woong proved his strong fandom power by winning the AAA Popularity Award for five consecutive years, and NiziU showed their presence by taking first place with an overwhelming number of votes. In the acting category, Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, who showed perfect chemistry in the tvN drama 'Seonjae Up and Run', took home awards together, raising fans' expectations for the chemistry between the two at the awards ceremony.
