Lim Young-woong, Christmas gifts for children with cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases

Singer Lim Young-woong provided Christmas gifts to children suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases.

The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation (Chairman: Lee Seong-hee) announced on the 2nd that singer Lim Young-woong donated the prize money of 2 million won from the Good Star King of Mask Singer competition to support Christmas gifts for children with cancer and leukemia.

Good Star is a donation platform service that supports the good influence of stars. It operates by watching videos and songs of singers who participated in the King of Mask Singer competition within the app, cheering them on through in-app missions, and donating prize money according to ranking.

The Christmas gift support project, which will be carried out in Lim Young-woong's name, is a project to comfort the body and mind of children who have been fighting against illness for a long time during Christmas. In order to give children a precious day during Christmas, we will prepare various gift boxes and give them joy.

Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said, “I am grateful for the good deed that warmed my frozen heart in the suddenly cold weather. I support singer Lim Young-woong’s positive influence and future activities.”

Singer Lim Young-woong, who achieved a cumulative donation amount of 91.94 million won through Good Star, is scheduled to meet his fans by holding a concert titled 'Lim Young-woong Recital' at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
