Pocheon City has stated that the report of singer Lim Young-woong's dismissal as public relations ambassador is 'false news'.

On December 9, Pocheon City announced through an official press release, “The ‘review of dismissing Ambassador Lim Young-woong’ reported by some media outlets is not true.”
He continued, "There has never been a review regarding the dismissal of ambassador Lim Young-woong, and the article claiming that Pocheon City will consider dismissing him is false," and "We have strongly requested that the relevant media outlet revise the report that does not match the facts."
