[talk] Ambassador Lim Young-woong's Dismissal Petition Received by Pocheon City "Remarks Are Extremely Inappropriate"

It was confirmed on the 10th that a petition requesting the dismissal of Lim Young-woong as Pocheon City's public relations ambassador was received by the city.

Regarding the previously filed complaint, Pocheon City plans to review the city ordinance.

Previously, petitioner A filed a petition on the 9th titled, "We urge Pocheon City to actively consider dismissing Lim Young-woong as public relations ambassador by clearly determining the truth of Lim Young-woong's DM remarks," stating, "Lim Young-woong is able to maintain his social status because it has been supported by the unyielding will and noble efforts of our ancestors to protect democracy throughout the long history of struggle."

The complaint was assigned to the Pocheon City public relations officer in charge of work related to Lim Young-woong’s public relations ambassadorship.

Person A stated in this petition, “According to Article 5 (Dismissal) of the ‘Pocheon City Public Relations Ambassador Operation Ordinance’ currently in effect, the mayor may dismiss a public relations ambassador during his or her term if he or she falls under any of the following items. It is also stated that ‘if he or she is deemed unfit to perform his or her duties, such as by causing damage to the dignity of the public relations ambassador,’”
