Cultural critic Kim Kap-soo and broadcaster Choi Wook mentioned singer Lim Young-woong's DM controversy on the podcast 'Maebul Show' aired on the 9th.
Kim Kap-soo said, "The martial law situation was a situation where many people could have lost their lives and lived without freedom." He pointed out, "Attitudes like 'Am I a politician?' and 'Why should I care about that?' show a lack of basic civic knowledge. We can bring up these things and criticize them."
Kim Kap-soo criticized, "If you can't take active action or speak out, but instead just take an onlooker's attitude and get away with it, you should be considered unqualified as a Korean who has worked so hard to create Korean history up until now."
Choi Wook said, "I want to take the time to criticize the media that shows a neutral attitude that doesn't seem neutral. However, in the case of Lim Young-woong, I got really angry and honestly annoyed the moment I saw him. However, I personally think that right now is not the time for me to get annoyed."
