Lim Young-woong mourns Jeju Air disaster at concert, “I feel deep sorrow”
Singer Lim Young-woong expressed his condolences over the Jeju Air disaster.
Lim Young-woong mentioned the Jeju Air plane crash during his solo concert 'Lim Young-woong Recital' held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on December 29th.
Lim Young-woong reportedly said, "I feel deeply saddened to hear the news that precious lives have been lost in a plane crash, and I would like to send my sincere condolences to the victims and their families."
He also sent a message to those working hard to clean up the accident scene, saying, "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who is doing their best at the scene in a difficult situation."
At around 9:03 am on the 29th, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed while attempting to land on the runway at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. Of the 181 people on board, 179 died and 2 survivors were rescued.
May the deceased rest in peace.
