Lim Young-woong, Jeju Air Disaster Mourning Fans Donate 3 Million Won to Underprivileged Neighbors

While singer Lim Young-woong mourned the Jeju Air disaster, fans stepped up to help the underprivileged.

Recently, 33 members of Naver Cafe Heroes Nation, who support Lim Young-woong, visited the Sejong branch of Love Fruit to celebrate the end of 2024.

Jeong Hyeon-ju, the leader of Heroes Nation, donated electric blankets worth 3 million won with the hope that the culture of donation in Korea would become more active and that warm love would be delivered to underprivileged neighbors in need of warmth during the cold winter.

Lee Hee-jung, the director of the Sejong branch of the Love Fruit office, said, “We sincerely thank ‘Hero Country’ for spreading warmth to the Sejong region through warm sharing for the third year starting in 2022.”

He continued, “Your precious donations have become a great strength to the local community through the fruits of love, and your warm hearts have inspired and encouraged many people. We will continue to cherish the meaning you have given us in the future,” he expressed his gratitude.

Starting with the 2020 Lim Young-woong alma mater scholarship sponsorship, Heroes Nation has continued its positive influence by donating about 52 million won in 12 times, including the briquette bank, the Hope Pebble, the White Bone Unit welfare supplies, and dryers, including this Love Fruit fundraising. /kangsj@osen.co.kr
