Chonnam National University Hospital announced on the 6th that the Gwangju/Honam branch of Youngwoong Era, a fan club for singer Lim Youngwoong, donated 11,065,129 won to be used for pediatric patients.

According to Chonnam National University Hospital, the donation ceremony was held on the 3rd at 3 PM in the reception room on the 2nd floor of the Chonnam National University Hospital administration building. Key officials including the Chonnam National University Hospital Psychiatric Hospital Director, Department Head of Medical Affairs Yoon Kyung-chul, Public Health and Medical Business Director Yoon Hyun-joo, External Cooperation Director Han Jae-young, and Nursing Director Choi Myeong-i, as well as members of the Gwangju and Honam branches of the Youngwoong Era, attended.
Since its formation last year, the Gwangju/Honam branch of Youngwoong Era has been inviting around 100 disabled people and their families who have difficulty enjoying cultural activities to watch the live film of Lim Youngwoong's concert, 'I'm Hero The Stadium', and has also been carrying out various activities for the underprivileged in the region, such as providing medical expenses for pediatric patients at Chonnam National University Hospital.

An official from the Gwangju/Honam branch of Youngwoong Era said, "We decided to donate to return the favor of the inspiration we received from singer Lim Youngwoong, who gave us comfort and hope through song even though our country was going through a difficult time due to various issues," adding, "We will continue to strive to practice donations and volunteer work like singer Lim Youngwoong."
