Singer and actress IU gave a surprise gift to child actress Shin Chae-rin, who appeared with her on 'Foolish'.
On the 4th, Shin Chae-rin's mother posted a picture of the bungeoppang tea sent by IU on her social networking service (SNS) account with the caption, "My first bungeoppang tea in my life."
The released photo shows IU sending a message to 'Ae-soon's mom' along with a bungeoppang tea, saying, "Everyone's favorite Shin Chae-rin, Chae-rin, you've worked hard, thank you."
Shin Chae-rin's mother said, "I wonder what kind of good deeds did we do in our past lives to be so blessed, Chae-rin and I," and expressed her gratitude, saying, "IU's mom thoughtfully sent us the bungeoppang tea, stationery, and photos for the last filming on the set. It was a touching gift that had everything."
He continued, "You didn't even say anything when we were together, and you sent me to the scene as a surprise. This is just something to make me cry." He added, "I'm grateful that you cherished and loved Chae-rin, but IU's mom, who always cared for me, I always respect and love you, thank you for giving me a gift that I will never forget."
Shin Chae-rin played the younger version of Yang Geum-myeong, the eldest daughter of IU's character Oh Ae-soon, in the Netflix original series 'Foolish'.
Meanwhile, the mother of child actor Lee Chun-moo, who played the young Kwan-sik in 'Foolish', also garnered attention on March 27 by revealing the drone and handwritten letter that IU had gifted him. At the time, Lee Chun-moo's mother expressed her feelings, saying, "It's late, but I want to thank you even now."
Wow, a bungeoppang car is so unique.
I think he would have really liked child actors.
