[Sports Chosun Reporter Kim So-hee] Singer and actress IU revealed a warm and simple part of her daily life to celebrate her birthday.
On the 19th, IU posted several photos of her recent activities on her account with the caption, “HAPPY IU MONTH(?) feat. Flower Bookmark Set.”
The released photos show IU, who celebrated her birthday on the 16th, spending time with her acquaintances. She created a small but cozy birthday party atmosphere with the help of a stylist and makeup artist, as well as actors Kang Han-na and Lee Joo-young.
IU caught everyone's attention by showing off her comfortable daily life with light makeup and a natural look, while also revealing her charm as a glamorous artist on stage.
Fans are sending warm support with comments like, “Happy birthday IU,” “I love you, unnie,” “Thank you for being born,” and “May is for you, unnie.”
IU previously donated 200 million won for her birthday. Her agency EDAM Entertainment announced on the 16th, "IU donated a total of 200 million won, 50 million won each to four organizations under the name IU-Aena (IU + U-Aena) for her birthday." The donations will be used to support various socially disadvantaged groups, including ▲supporting the livelihoods of low-income families and the elderly living alone ▲helping youth prepare for independence settle into society ▲supporting the livelihood, treatment, and education costs of single-parent families ▲providing welfare spaces and cutting-edge assistive devices for the disabled.
Meanwhile, IU will release her third remake album 'Flower Bookmark Set' at 6 PM on the 27th. This will be her first comeback in about 1 year and 3 months since her 6th mini album 'The Winning' released in February of last year.
