[All] New Jeans, Espa, IU Selected as 'Artist Top Ten K-Pop Girl Brand' for July

New Jeans, Espa, IU, Ive, Blackpink, QWER, Kim Se-jeong, (G)I-dle, Ailitt, and Baby Monster were selected as the protagonists of TENASIA ARTIST TOP TEN's July 'Artist Top Ten K-Pop Girl Brand'.

In July, a global vote was conducted through the Ten Asia voting service, divided into the Artist Top Ten K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND, and HOT GENRE BRAND categories.

According to the voting results, the group New Jeans won first place in the K-pop girl brand category. On the 23rd, New Jeans' "Super Shy" music video surpassed 200 million views. New Jeans recently released a double single "How Sweet" and a Japanese debut single "Supernatural" and has been active in both Korea and Japan.

2nd place goes to the group aespa. aespa successfully established themselves in Japan by releasing their Japanese debut single "Hot Mess" on the 3rd. After that, aespa held their "2024 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK: PARALLEL LINE –" at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on the 20th (local time), successfully performing to the enthusiastic welcome of local fans.

Third place goes to singer IU. IU is currently on her first world tour concert, 'HEREH'. She performed in New York and Atlanta on the 15th and 19th, and will meet fans in Washington D.C. on the 31st. This concert is IU's first US tour in 16 years since her debut in 2008 at the age of 15.

The rankings of New Jeans, Espa, IU, Ive, Blackpink, QWER, Kim Se-jeong, (G)I-dle, Ailrit, and Baby Monster were determined by a 30% media index utilizing the Melon index from online music site, a 10% Google Trends index, and a 60% global popularity vote formed by fan votes through the TenAsia voting service.

The criteria for candidates are K-Pop Boy Brand and K-Pop Girl Brand, which are the top 30 male and female idol groups and solo artists on the Melon Chart for the current month, and Hot Genre Brand, which are the top 30 domestic groups and solo artists who have entered the Melon Chart and Idol Champ monthly chart for the current month.
