[talk] IU's thorough self-management... "I can drink cola" after the tour ends

Singer and actress IU has revealed that she has been thoroughly managing herself for about six months in preparation for meeting fans around the world.

IU recently revealed the backstage footage of her '2024 IU Here World Tour Concert Encore The Winning', which ended at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21st and 22nd, on her official YouTube channel.

This concert is the last concert of IU's world tour and her 100th solo concert since her debut as a singer.

He said, "I put two pieces of tape over my mouth, wore a mask over it, turned on a humidifier, and slept in the jungle." He focused on taking care of his throat in order to safely complete the last performance.

After finishing the performance and coming down from the stage, IU expressed relief, saying, "I can't feel my legs," and "My neck is really done (not feeling well), but it doesn't matter. The tour is over now."

While saying this, he said, "I didn't have to wear a mask when I sleep, and I didn't have to turn on the humidifier. It was so stuffy that I thought I was going to die," and added, "Whenever we had company dinners, I just wanted to drink a glass of cola. I said, 'If I just drink a glass of cola, my wishes will be gone,' but I really held back. Now I can drink cola," he said with a laugh.

IU also said, "I'm glad that (the concert) ended without anyone getting hurt. Each and every one of our staff members worked so hard," and "It didn't rain for two days, so I'm thankful to the sky and the weather god for that alone. I'll live humbly and kindly," expressing her gratitude.
