Singer and actress IU revealed why she has been maintaining her diet.

On the 1st, a video titled 'The scent of spring is an excuse' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Tteun Tteun'.

The video featured Park Bo-gum and IU, the lead actors of the Netflix drama 'Foolish', appearing as guests.

Yoo Jae-suk asked IU, who has a slender body, "Didn't you originally like to eat?"

IU said, "I used to really like it, but at some point, my appetite seems to have decreased."

Yoo Jae-suk recalled IU's past and said, "IU used to always have chubby cheeks." IU confessed, "I really liked sweets in particular, so after my debut, my face started gaining weight and I had to always go on a diet."

IU also explained, "But at some point, I feel like I don't want to eat as much as before. My appetite itself seems to have decreased and my stomach seems to have shrunk as well."

Meanwhile, IU revealed that there was a time in the past when she was as skinny as a size 33.
