On that day's broadcast, Kangnam appeared as a guest and engaged in a Korean language battle with Lay. Having lost to Lay in a Korean language contest about a year ago, Kangnam offered an excuse, saying, "I was just having fun back then." Lay, however, responded with a direct, "You were quite serious," drawing laughter from the audience.

The two then expressed their confidence in their Korean language competition. Kangnam said, "After that, I started studying a lot. That's why my Korean skills improved," and Lay boasted of his exceptional skills, saying, "When I was a trainee, I studied Korean for two to three hours every day. Then my teacher said, 'How about you take the test?' So I did, and I passed Level 4 on the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) right away."

After a close match, the score was tied and additional questions were asked.

In the end, Ray won the final victory by guessing the correct answer to the last question, 'genetics'.
