[talk] China is really the one who causes all kinds of trouble~~
Why do these really overbearing Chinese people act like this???
Picking a fight over every little thing..........
I'm just Korean, so I wonder if it hurts my stomach when things go well...
There are signs of another boycott this time because Wonyoung described Hong Kong as a country.
I'm sick of this damn thing.......

It has been confirmed that Jang Won-young is facing ongoing criticism in China for referring to Hong Kong as a "country." Ive YouTube channel
Ive Member Jang Won-young I've once again encountered the tantrums of these Chinese netizens.
Jang Won-young recently appeared in the 'MAMA 2025 Behind the Scenes' video released on the Ive YouTube channel, and expressed her anticipation for the event, which will be held backstage in Hong Kong, China.
During the event, Jang Won-young said, "I need to eat a delicious dinner," and added, "I love Hong Kong. There are a lot of delicious things there. Hong Kong is one of my favorite countries." She also said, "I want to eat Peking duck today," and added, "I hope you all enjoy a pleasant dinner and the '2025 MAMA.'"
Jang Won-young's remarks sparked a barrage of criticism from Chinese netizens, who expressed their discomfort with Jang Won-young's use of the term "country." The Chinese subtitles for the remarks were later refined to "region," but Chinese netizens took issue with the original Korean version.
They criticized Jang Won-young for making remarks that violated the "One China" principle and insulted sovereignty, saying, "Hong Kong is Chinese territory, not a country."
This is also raising signs of a boycott of Jang Won-young, with a series of hashtags such as '#JangWonyoungHongKongCountry' (Jang Won-young's remarks on the Hong Kong national anthem), '#IVEGetOutofChina' (Jang Won-young, get out of China), and '#KoreanIdolsHistoryEducation' (Korean idol history education) appearing one after another on Weibo, China's largest social networking service (SNS).
Chinese media also reported this. Sina Entertainment ran an article titled “Ive Jang Won-young refers to Hong Kong as a ‘country’… MAMA behind-the-scenes video sparks controversy,” and pointed out that “Jang Won-young referred to Hong Kong as her favorite ‘country’ in a MAMA behind-the-scenes video,” and that “this is a clear challenge to China’s territorial integrity.”
The Global Times also took issue with Jang Won-young's remarks, saying, "Korean idols are aware of the importance of the Chinese market, but lack political sensitivity," and "They are showing a double standard by making money from Chinese fans while not respecting China's sovereignty."
This isn't the first time Chinese netizens have leveled excessive criticism at Jang Won-young. After she shared a photo of herself wearing a traditional Korean hairpin during Paris Fashion Week in 2022, Chinese netizens continued to accuse her of stealing Chinese culture.
Chinese netizens introduced Jang Won-young's Chinese phoenix hairpin as "Korean style" and claimed that "hairpins with phoenix patterns are a unique Chinese style."
