On the 11th, Baskin-Robbins admitted its mistake to Asia Economy regarding the controversy over the unauthorized use of Lucky Viki, saying, "There was a problem in that we did not carefully consider the parts that required prior confirmation with the artist during the planning process."
The Lucky Vicky Mochi at the center of the controversy is a limited-time seasonal product, produced in small quantities, and is currently only sold at Baskin-Robbins offline stores. The news that sales have been discontinued is not true. A Baskin-Robbins official said, "Sales will end when stock runs out, and we will strengthen the pre-inspection process from the planning stage to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future."
