Singer Jeong Dong-won donated the prize money of 500,000 won from the November King of Mask Singer competition to support emergency treatment costs for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases.
On the 9th, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced this. Good Star is a donation platform service that supports the good influence of stars. It operates by watching videos and songs of singers who participated in the King of Mask Singer competition within the app, cheering them on through missions within the app, and donating prize money according to ranking.
Singer Jung Dong-won, who achieved a cumulative donation amount of 44.87 million won through Good Star, released a new song 'Gori' on the 11th after 1 year and 2 months, and recently released a remake digital single 'Take Responsibility', receiving much love for his addictive song and performance. He is also active in various entertainment programs including ENA's 'City Z Went to the Countryside'.
The prize money for the King of Mask Singer competition donated under the name of singer Jeong Dong-won will be used for emergency treatment costs for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s emergency treatment cost support project is a project that helps families with children who are experiencing financial difficulties due to sudden treatment costs by providing hospitalization costs, drug costs, and treatment expenses, thereby relieving their financial burden and helping families with children to focus on treatment in a stable environment.
Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said, "We are grateful for the constant positive influence and warm breeze that has blown into our society. We look forward to the future activities of singer Jeong Dong-won, who is active in various fields such as singing and entertainment."

기부는 마음에서 우러나와서 해야 하는 누가 강요할 수 없는 부분이지만 그냥 개인적으로 정동원이 임영웅하고 같은 아파트에 산다는데 너무 어려서부터 큰 돈을 쓰며 사는게 아닌가 하는 우려감이.. 내가 남걱정할 때는 아니다만 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 기부는 큰 금액 작은 금액할 거 없이 다 칭찬할 일이죠~~ ^^
