It has been reported that the production of the new drama by Japanese broadcaster TBS has been difficult due to the rejection of actor Jung Hae-in's request for his appearance.
On the 26th, Japanese media outlet Post Seven reported that the project, which was scheduled to start filming in February of next year, was experiencing difficulties in planning due to Jung Hae-in's absence.
In particular, it was reported that the situation was awkward because, even though actor Kentaro Sakaguchi was confirmed as the lead role, there was a possibility that he would be influenced by the other actor's role and the overall planning of the drama.
The drama was supposed to be a double lead drama starring Jung Hae-in and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, and was supposed to tell the story of a Korean lawyer and a Japanese veterinarian. It was also supposed to be a collaboration between TBS and a Korean production company, but it was claimed that the plan would fall through due to Jung Hae-in's cancellation of his appearance.
However, it seems that Jung Hae-in has not confirmed his appearance in the work, and when news of his appearance in the Japanese drama was reported, Jung Hae-in's side stated, "It is one of the works I was offered."
Amidst this, attention is focused on who will be cast as Jung Hae-in's replacement actor.
