The detention period of singer Kim Ho-joong, who was sentenced to prison in the first trial for drunk driving, has been extended once again.
According to the legal community on the 9th, the 26th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Judge Choi Min-hye) decided on the 5th to renew the detention period of Kim Ho-jung, who was brought to trial on charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Crimes (dangerous driving resulting in death).
Kim Ho-joong, who was arrested on June 18, had his detention period extended twice in August and October while he was on trial. According to the Criminal Procedure Act, the court can extend the detention period of a defendant under trial for up to six months, with two months being extended at the first trial stage. As the court decided to extend the detention period until February of next year, Kim Ho-joong will remain in the detention center and prepare for the appeal.

그러고보니 이분 수감생활도 지금 기간이 꽤 됐네요. 솔직히 원만히 해결될수도 있는 일이었는데 그걸 이렇게 만들었네요..
