On the 18th at midnight, her agency WM Entertainment uploaded a video titled 'LEE CHAE YEON 3rd MINI ALBUM “The beginning of SHOWDOWN”' through their official SNS channel and announced the release of Lee Chae Yeon's new album.

WM Entertainment said, “Lee Chae-yeon will be releasing her third mini album on July 3rd, but we’ve decided to pre-release a special video for the track ‘Summer Heat’ for fans. The title track will showcase a much more intense and upgraded version of Lee Chae-yeon. Please look forward to it.”
