[All] Lee Chan-won, 54.75 million won in cumulative support for pediatric cancer treatment

Lee Chan-won's official SNS Singer Lee Chan-won donated the prize money from the June King of Mask Singer competition on Good Star.

On the 8th, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced that Chan-won Lee donated the prize money of 1 million won from the June King of Mask Singer competition on Good Star to support the treatment costs of children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases.

Good Star is a donation platform service that supports the good influence of stars. It operates by watching videos and songs of singers who participated in the King of Mask Singer competition within the app, cheering them on through in-app missions, and donating prize money according to ranking.

The surgical and hospital treatment cost support project, which will be supported in the name of Lee Chan-won, provides support of a minimum of 5 million won and a maximum of 30 million won to patients aged 25 or younger diagnosed with pediatric leukemia and rare and incurable diseases under the age of 19, and is used for surgical and hospital treatment costs, transplant costs, rare drug purchase costs, and hospital assistive device support.

Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said, “We look forward to the future activities of singer Lee Chan-won, who has been giving hope to children and their families through his consistent good deeds.”

Meanwhile, singer Lee Chan-won, who achieved a cumulative donation amount of 54.75 million won through Good Star, will continue to meet with his fans by holding his third solo concert, 'Chan-ga', in Andong on July 13th and 14th, following Seoul and Incheon.
