Singer Lee Chan-won won the grand prize at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards.

At the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' held on the 21st, Lee Chan-won won the grand prize. Lee Chan-won said with a trembling voice, "I really didn't know I would win, and in fact, I secretly prepared my acceptance speech for the 2022 and 2023 Entertainment Awards." He held back tears and said with a trembling voice, "I really wasn't able to prepare anything this year. I wasn't able to prepare an acceptance speech this year, so I'll just say it with all my heart as it came to me."

Lee Chan-won said, “I joined KBS 16 years ago in 2008 through ‘National Singing Contest’ and have been on many programs with KBS since 2020.” He continued, “Recently, people ask, ‘Singers should focus on singing. Why do you appear on so many broadcasts?’ But I liked entertainment and broadcasting since I was young. I don’t think I will be able to give up on either broadcasting or entertainment in the future.”
