Lee Chan-won's agency, TN Entertainment, announced on December 31st of last year, "We have decided not to upload any official Lee Chan-won Instagram posts during the national mourning period," and "We express our deepest condolences to the victims of the accident and their bereaved families."

The government has designated the period until the 4th as a national mourning period to mourn the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane crash that occurred on the 29th.
