1. How was the ending of season 1? Are you all waiting for season 2?

Netflix's variety show <The Return of Superman> Season 1 has come to an end with its 9th episode. The last episode featured a fireworks display prepared by Kian84, which left both the guests and cast members deeply moved... It really brought tears to our eyes.

Ji Ye-eun even shed tears at the end, and Jin left the famous line, “Youth is Kian.” Kian84 cautiously brought up the topic of season 2, but Jin firmly said, “Just tell me to see you in season 2!”

If Netflix doesn't make a season 2 after seeing this level of response, then they're... really stupid.

2. Guest Summary (ft. North Korean Defectors, Climbing Team)

One of the charms of the Daehwanjang Gi-anjang is that the regular guests appear as real people. Let's take a look at some of the most representative guests!

KAIST trio
The first guests to appear. Do you remember the scene where BTS' Jin was surprised when he asked, "Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University?" and then ended up saying, "KAIST"?

Ga-Hyeon & Jun-Hee (Gianjang Annex Team)
Ga-hyeon is a 20-year-old who dreams of becoming a flight attendant, and Jun-hee is a bright and energetic guest who used to do underwater ballet. Although they had a hard time keeping the fire going in the annex, they received a lot of love from the cast members with their powerful and positive charm.

Ajin (architecture student with a carpenter background)
A wonderful workaholic guest who has been working as a carpenter since he was 18 and is currently studying architecture. Jin and Ji-ye-eun were also impressed and said, “He’s really cool!”

Minseop & Climbing Team
The team that appeared at the main building of Gianjang and was surprised by the wall. Minseop in particular was praised for his looks, and since he is the same age as Jin, they quickly became close.

Park Chung-il (North Korean defector and martial artist)
This is the person who taught us how to strangle and walk on a tightrope using only our arms. It turned out that he was a defector from North Korea, and we were all moved when we heard his story about how he escaped North Korea with his younger sibling when he was 12.

3. Will there really be a season 2? What are the chances?

He definitely dropped a hint about Season 2. Kian84 made an ambiguous comment saying, “You guys decide,” but Jin put a stop to it by saying, “Let’s just do it!”

It's rare for a Netflix original to have such good word-of-mouth and cast synergy. The viewer response has been so good that I think a season 2 is almost a given.

Kian84 hesitated, saying, “Barges are expensive,” but wouldn’t it be great if they just took over and filmed season 2 and YouTube here?

4. After watching, I was moved, laughed, and comforted.

The indifferent yet affectionate leadership of Kian84, the affectionate personality of BTS' Jin, and the cheerful charm of Ji Ye-eun all came together so well that it was healing to watch.

Season 1 was so touching and fun, so I'm looking forward to season 2 even more. I really hope that Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun will appear again, and I'm also really curious to meet the new guests.

Netflix will take care of making it, right?
