As it became known that singer Lee Moo-jin was treated unfairly by staff during an event rehearsal, concerns and anger are continuing among fans. Lee Moo-jin’s agency stated, “We deeply regret the inappropriate words and actions that occurred on site,” and “We plan to respond strongly to protect the artist.”

The issue was the rehearsal site for the '2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo' held in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province on June 4th. At the time, a staff member gave instructions to Lee Mu-jin in an informal tone, and eventually forcibly stopped the rehearsal. The controversy grew as this scene was spread on SNS by the audience present.

Afterwards, the event organizers also apologized through SNS, saying, “We apologize for any unpleasant incident caused by communication issues,” and revealed that they had received a sincere apology from the staff member in question and had taken internal measures such as warnings and reeducation.
