1. Program Overview

 

BOYS II PLANET2 is a global idol audition program jointly produced by Mnet and CJ ENM. It features a unique format in which trainees are selected from two tracks, "PLANET K (Korea)" and "PLANET C (China)," and debut as an integrated "world group" after a level test.

 

▪️Eligibility: Born before January 1, 2012 (13 years old or older as of 2025), all individual trainees, agency trainees, and those who have debuted are eligible to apply.

 

📆 Application period:

▪️First broadcast: August 10, 2024 to January 26, 2025

▪️Extended: K group until 3/23, C group until 3/2

▪️Added 4 Southeast Asian countries: February 1, 2025

▪️Final deadline: March 31, 2025

▪️Shooting begins: May 11, 2025

▪️Face photo & blind voting published: June 9, 2025

The 33 members announced at this time do not include trainees with Japanese nationality. Since 17 members participated in the previous work, additional announcements are expected after the end of June.
