Lotte Welfood relaunches nostalgic ice cream
Lotte Welfood announced on the 12th that it will re-launch the nostalgic ice cream 'Daerongdaerong' and 'Mom's Mistake of Frozen the Entire Orchard (Mom's Mistake)'.
'Daerongdaerong' is a fruit-flavored ice cream in a scoop-type form launched by Lotte Samkang (now Lotte Welfood) in 1987. It is characterized by its refreshingly sweet taste and its fruit-shaped container. The company explained, "There have been steady requests for its re-release since it was discontinued in 2010," and "In an internal survey conducted on social media channels over the past three years, it was also the most mentioned of our ice cream products that we hoped to re-release, which is why we decided to re-release it."
'Mom's Mistake' is a fruit-flavored ice cream that was introduced in 2006. This product is a unique ice cream that allows you to enjoy multiple fruit flavors at once by adding fruit ingredients to a sweet milk mixture, and was discontinued in 2021.
