[All] KM Chart Launches August Preference Survey… BTS, Lim Young-woong, Blackpink, and More Clash

The global standard K-pop chart 'KM Chart' will be conducting a K-MUSIC preference survey (6 categories) for August 2025 until the 24th. This preference survey received a large number of nominees with both popularity and buzz across 6 categories: K-MUSIC (music), ARTIST (artist), HOT CHOICE (popularity award) male/female, and ROOKIE (newcomer award) male/female.
The nominees for the K-MUSIC category include Young Tak's "Jugi," Jungkook (BTS)'s "Standing Next to You," Playbe's "Dash," Lee Chan-won's "Sky Travel," Jin (BTS)'s "Don't Say You Love Me," Lim Young-woong's "Onki," and Blackpink's "JUMP," for a total of 50 songs. Representative songs that have topped major music charts are evenly distributed.
The K-MUSIC ARTIST category also featured influential artists as nominees. A total of 30 individuals (teams) were nominated, including Lim Young-woong, Lee Chan-won, BTS's RM, Jin, V, Jungkook, and J-Hope, G-Dragon, Young Tak, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, Boy Next Door, Enhypen, SHINee, Highlight, and Playbe.
In the HOT CHOICE male category, which reflects the public's perceived popularity, 30 people (teams) were nominated, including Lee Chan-won, Lim Young-woong, Nteam, NCT Dream, Kang Daniel, Nsign, Jang Min-ho, SF9, ATEEZ, SEVENTEEN, and MONSTA X. In the female category, 30 people (teams) were nominated, including Hwasa (Mamamoo), Dreamcatcher, ITZY, Seraphim, Rosé (BLACKPINK), EXO, Tzuyu (TWICE), aespa, I-dle, and Seulgi (Red Velvet).
The nominees for the ROOKIE category are also strong. In the men's category, 10 members (or teams) including A-Nine, Nowz, Close Your Eyes, NexG, Rise, and New Beat will compete for the Best New Artist award, while in the women's category, 10 members (or teams) including Hearts To Hearts, Eyelit, Eunice, Baby Monster, Baby Don't Cry, and If I will will compete for the title of Best New Artist.
Voting for the KM Chart August preference survey can be done through the apps "My One Pick" and "Idol Champ." Votes from both apps will be combined, each weighing 50% of the total. Once the preference survey concludes, the final results will be announced, including the vote tally, judges' evaluations, and objective indicators such as KM Chart data scores.
