tvN's weekend drama "Seocho-dong," which concluded on the 10th, recorded a nationwide average of 7.7% and a peak of 8.9%, achieving its highest viewership ratings (according to Nielsen Korea) and ending on a high note. The story of the lawyers portrayed over 12 episodes captivated and resonated with viewers until the very end.
Moon Ga-young took on the lead role of Kang Hee-ji in the drama, challenging her first role as a lawyer, and received favorable reviews from viewers for her stable acting and delicate expressiveness.
Thanks to Moon Ga-young's performance, the drama "Seocho-dong" achieved significant success beyond Korea, gaining immense popularity on global channels. Buoyed by this enthusiastic response, "Seocho-dong" held a fan event and local press conference on the 10th and 11th in Malaysia, which has rapidly emerged as the largest market in Asia, to coincide with the end of its run. Upon arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Moon Ga-young expressed her gratitude to the numerous fans who greeted her warmly, waving and smiling despite the late hour.
On the first day of the event, the 10th, Moon Ga-young attended the screening event "Star Tour," where she met with fans in person. According to her agency Peak J Entertainment on the 12th, approximately 20,000 fans flocked to see Moon Ga-young at the red carpet event held at the main entrance of "Pavilion Kuala Lumpur" in Malaysia.
