82 Major signs exclusive contract with major Japanese management company, holds first solo fan meeting in December.

[OSEN=Reporter Choi Yi-jeong] 82 Major has signed an exclusive contract with a major Japanese management company.

Group 82MAJOR (Nam Sung-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Sung-bin, Kim Do-gyun) will begin their Japanese activities in earnest by opening an official Japanese fan club in collaboration with Japanese management company HoriPro International and the largest local ticket service eplus on the 10th.

82Major's upcoming Japanese activities will be managed by Horipro International, the international division of Horipro Group, one of Japan's top three entertainment agencies. Horipro has managed a number of top Japanese actors, including Satomi Ishihara, Kyoko Fukada, Haruka Ayase, Satoshi Tsumabuki, Ryohei Suzuki, and Ryoma Takeuchi, and will provide full support to 82Major as they establish themselves as "major" artists in the Japanese market.

The joint management involves Eplus, Japan's largest ticket service. With over 25 million members and a strong IT-based marketing strategy, Eplus holds a unique position in the Japanese ticket sales market and holds significant influence. 82Major will leverage Eplus's marketing capabilities to expand its reach with Japanese fans.

While Horipro International and Eplus leverage their respective expertise and extensive networks to strategically support 82Major's local activities, the synergy between the two companies is expected to be maximized by the top-tier creative and production capabilities of their Korean agency, Great M Entertainment. Notably, with SM Entertainment as Great M Entertainment's second-largest shareholder, this global partnership is expected to further fuel 82Major's successful expansion into Japan.

82 Major has opened their official Japanese fan club, "82DE" (Attitude), and will hold their first Japanese fan meeting on December 21st at Nissho Hall in Tokyo. The event will feature various corners, including talk shows and live performances, where fans can interact closely and get a glimpse into the members' candid selves.

82 Major, as its name suggests, embodies the group's bold ambition to "become a major label beyond Korea and globally," and plans to further solidify its position in the Asian market through collaborations with major Japanese management companies. As 82 Major expands its global reach, attention is focused on what new charms it will bring to captivate fans in Japan.

Debuted in 2023, 82 Major has been expanding their fan base as a "performance idol." They held a solo concert just three months after their debut, selling out all tickets for their fourth solo concert. They recently completed a successful 25-city tour of North America, and in August, they represented K-pop at "EveryOne Fes 2025," held in Nagoya, Japan, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, captivating local fans with their electrifying performance.

Meanwhile, 82 Major is preparing for an album in earnest with the goal of a comeback in October, and will hold their first fan meeting '82DE WORLD' at the Donghae Culture and Arts Center at Kwangwoon University in Seoul on the 20th.
