The global standard K-pop chart 'KM Chart' will be conducting a K-MUSIC preference survey (6 categories) for September 2025 until the 24th. This preference survey has nominated a large number of candidates with both popularity and buzz across 6 categories: K-MUSIC (music), ARTIST (artist), HOT CHOICE (popularity award) male/female, and ROOKIE (newcomer award) male/female.
The nominees for the K-MUSIC category include Tomorrow X Together's "Beautiful Strangers," Blackpink's "Jump," Espa's "Dirty Work," Lim Young-woong's "Moment Like Forever" and "Onki," fromis_9's "LIKE YOU BETTER," Allday Project's "FAMOUS," and Woodz's "Drowning," among a total of 50 songs from various genres.
The K-MUSIC ARTIST category also boasts a stellar lineup of nominees. A total of 30 artists (teams) have been nominated, including V (BTS), Stray Kids, aespa, Lee Chan-won, All Day Project, Tomorrow X Together, Young Tak, The Boyz, NCT Dream, Boy Next Door, and Seraphim.
In the HOT CHOICE male category, which reflects the public's perceived popularity, 30 people (teams) were nominated, including Lee Chan-won, Lim Young-woong, RM, V, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope (BTS), Jang Min-ho, Kang Daniel, Nsign, NCT 127, ATEEZ, Playbe, MONSTA X, and SEVENTEEN. In the female category, 30 people (teams) were nominated, including Dreamcatcher, Hwasa (Mamamoo), aespa, I-dle, EXO-SC, IV, ITZY, NMIX, and Oh My Girl.
The nominees for the ROOKIE category are also fiercely competitive. In the male category, 10 members (teams) including AHOF, CLOSE YOUR EYES, IDID, NouerA, NEXZ, NOWZ, NEWBEAT, idntt, AxMxP, and CORTIS will be competing for the Best Rookie award, while in the female category, 10 members (teams) including UNIS, Hearts2Hearts, BABYMONSTER, SAY MY NAME, ifeye, cosmosy, AtHeart, Baby DONT Cry, and iii will be competing for the Best Rookie award.
Voting for the KM Chart September preference survey can be done through the apps "My One Pick" and "Idol Champ." Votes from both apps will be combined, each weighing 50%. Once the preference survey concludes, the final results will be announced, including the vote tally, judges' evaluations, and objective indicators such as KM Chart data scores.
