Rosé received the Presidential Citation at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards held at the National Theater of Korea's Haeo-reum Theater on the 23rd. She was recognized for her contributions to the advancement of popular culture. Her single "Apartment," released in October of last year, topped global charts. It topped Billboard's "Global 200" for 12 consecutive weeks and peaked at number two on the UK's "Official Singles Chart Top 100."
They also set a new K-pop record. They won the grand prize at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, one of the four major American pop music awards ceremonies. They became the first K-pop artist to win Song of the Year. Meanwhile, Rosé will be performing as part of Blackpink's world tour "Deadline" at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, today.
