[All] [Exclusive] Kang Daniel's agency Connect Entertainment finally goes into liquidation process due to legal action

[Joy News 24 Reporter Jiwon Jeong] Connect Entertainment, the music agency founded by singer Kang Daniel, is going through the process of closing down.

According to multiple music industry insiders on the 20th, Connect Entertainment has recently decided to close down. All of the agency's employees have been laid off or resigned, and the agency's singers have also left the company and are each going their own way.

Kang Daniel, a singer under Connect Entertainment who also served as the agency's CEO, recently became embroiled in a lawsuit and decided to close the agency and part ways with the other artists under the agency.

Kang Daniel also doesn't have much time left on his contract. When his contract with his agency ends next month, he has decided not to work as a one-man agency and to naturally close down the company.

According to Joy News 24's investigation, around 20 employees at Connect Entertainment were laid off or resigned, and the company's vehicles were also disposed of some time ago.

It was also revealed that the agency's headquarters in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was reorganized early this year.

Meanwhile, Kang Daniel founded Connect Entertainment in June 2019. At the time, it started as Kang Daniel's one-man agency, but later recruited Chancellor, former GFriend member Yuju, and dance crew We Dam Boys to work together.

A domestic management partnership with the group 2NE1's CL was also carried out briefly.
