The battle over the truth surrounding the controversy over animal trainer Kang Hyung-wook's workplace bullying continues.

Kang Hyung-wook explained on the 24th, a week later, that " CCTV is not for surveillance" and that "I have never used abusive language or anything like that," but the suspicions remain unresolved as former employees of Bodum Company are refuting his claims.

According to JoongAng Ilbo on the 27th, former employees of Bodum Company are preparing to file a criminal complaint by contacting attorney Park Hoon, who has volunteered to represent them for free, and the Lawyers for a Democratic Society (Minbyun).

In a presentation ( PPT ) document written in response to the 55-minute YouTube video of the Kang Hyung-wook couple, they refuted the claims of CCTV surveillance, verbal abuse, and messenger surveillance, stating that they were all true.

Former employees of Bodum Company claimed, "From 2014 to 2015, there was one CCTV in a villa in Jamwon-dong, Seoul, and from 2015 to 2017, there were nine CCTVs in an office on the 7th floor of the Jamwon-dong building. If the purpose was to prevent theft and identify outsiders, a CCTV should have been installed in the entrance, but the 7th floor office had a CCTV for surveillance purposes, and a fake one that had been there for a long time was hung in the entrance where packages for delivery were piled up."

He also denied that he had heard Kang Hyung-wook yelling at the trainer for over 20 minutes from the next room, saying, "Get out, you don't even deserve to breathe," and that he also had recordings of some of the verbal abuse.

Regarding the allegations of internal messenger surveillance and bullying by Director Susan Ye-hee Elder, Kang Hyung-wook's wife, he pointed out, "It wasn't the female employees who first wrote about misandry. Rather, CEO Kang frequently said things like, 'Women should have many children,' and while chatting on messenger, male employees said things like 'Hannam,' and I simply agreed and agreed with that."

He also added, "It doesn't make sense to say that I was turned away because I cursed at my son. I may have hated CEO Kang, but I never hated my son. Recently, Kang Hyung Wook refuted all allegations, including CCTV and messenger surveillance, as well as the spam gift of poop bags, 9,670 won in retirement pay, and neglect of his dog Leo, on his YouTube channel 'Kang Hyung Wook's Bodeum TV' titled 'Sorry for being late.' He said, "There are a lot of speculations, slander, and false facts. I would like to ask those who slander me to 'stop.' If necessary, I plan to take legal action to protect the employees and trainers who have worked hard."
