[All] [Exclusive] Kim Young-dae confirmed as male lead in 'Dear X'

According to OSEN's coverage on the 5th, Kim Young-dae has been cast as the male lead, Yoon Jun-seo, in the new drama 'Dear X'.

'Dear X' is a melodrama based on a webtoon of the same name, and is the story of a woman who dreams of success by using others to get what she wants, and her rise to the top after becoming an actress, before falling from grace, as well as the love of the man who stays by her side.

Actress Kim Yoo-jung was cast as the female protagonist Baek Ah-jin, who works with Kim Young-dae. Baek Ah-jin, played by Kim Yoo-jung, has a dazzling appearance and a kind and good personality, but is a sociopath who thoroughly shows her devilish side and punishes those who offend her. She is a character who has the insight to see through the other person's intentions and manipulates the people around her in order to get what she wants.

'Dear X' will be directed by Lee Eung Bok, who directed 'Descendants of the Sun,' 'Goblin,' 'Jirisan,' and 'Sweet Home.' The script was written by Choi Ji Won, who won the grand prize at the 2018 KBS One-Act Drama Contest, and Monster Union is in charge of production.
