[All] Kang Hyung-wook and his wife are accused of unauthorized access to employee messengers

Dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook, CEO of Bodum Company, and his wife, director Susan Elder, were sued by former employees for accessing employees' messenger conversations without permission.

Yonhap News reported on the 12th that two former employees of Bodum Company sent a complaint by mail against CEO Kang and his wife to the Namyangju Southern Police Station in Gyeonggi Province for violating the Information and Communications Network Act.

These are the employees who posted reviews of CEO Kang Hyung-wook's workplace bullying on a job search platform, and the complaint reportedly states that CEO Kang and his wife accessed the company's employees' internal messenger contents without permission.

A police official said, “No complaint has been filed yet regarding Mr. Kang Hyung-wook,” and “We are aware that a complaint was sent by mail.”
