A current member of an idol group reported to the police that he was assaulted by his agency's CEO, and the police have begun an investigation.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul was dispatched at around 4:30 AM on the 11th after receiving a report that "the agency CEO was assaulting members."
Police are investigating the CEO of an idol group's agency on charges of assaulting members with a blunt object about 90 centimeters long at their dormitory.
The agency's CEO is said to have assaulted the members, asking, "Why are you using the dorm so dirty?" Some of the assaulted members were minors. The CEO was reportedly drunk at the time of the assault.
Police have booked the agency's CEO on charges of special assault and are currently investigating the details of the incident.
