As Hive is suspected of submitting false information regarding its designation as a large corporate group (a group of companies subject to public disclosure), the Fair Trade Commission is investigating the matter.

The on-site investigation conducted by the Fair Trade Commission on the 24th was conducted after it was reported that Hive had false or omitted information regarding the relevant designated data. The Fair Trade Commission stated that it would respond sternly if there was any illegal activity.

Last year, Hive exceeded 5 trillion won in assets, and this year, it was the first entertainment industry group to be designated as a public group. Accordingly, not only Hive, a listed company, but also Hive’s affiliates’ shareholder status and major management matters must be disclosed to the capital market.
