[Seoul = Newsis] Reporter Jeongmin Yoon = SK Telecom announced that it will release Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Wide 7, a 5G smartphone priced at 300,000 won, starting on the 26th.

The Galaxy Wide series is an exclusive terminal for SK Telecom, and since its first launch in 2016, approximately 3.4 million units have been sold to date. The release of the new Galaxy Wide will be the first in approximately 1 year and 6 months since December 2022.

The Galaxy Wide 7 is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery, fast charging up to 25W, a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel camera. It also supports Samsung Wallet and the release price is 374,000 won.

The public subsidy is set at a maximum of 170,000 won (based on a monthly rate of 125,000 won). If an additional subsidy of 25,500 won (15% of the public subsidy) is added, the actual purchase price drops to 151,500 won.

SK Telecom announced that to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy Wide 7, it will provide a 2-month free trial of YouTube Premium and a 6-month free trial of Microsoft 365 Basic to customers who purchase the device.

Affiliate card discount benefits are also provided. Customers using KB Card will receive a monthly discount of 18,000 won if their previous month's performance exceeds 300,000 won. Customers using Lotte Card Tello T-Lite affiliated card will receive a monthly discount of 22,000 won if their previous month's performance exceeds 400,000 won.
