Filipino food company Jollibee Foods announced on the 2nd (local time) that it would acquire a 70% stake in South Korean low-price coffee franchise Compose Coffee for $238 million (about 330 billion won), Reuters reported.

Jollibee Foods is a large food company listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, and as of that day, its market capitalization was reported to be 252.4 billion Philippine pesos (approximately 5.96 trillion won).
