Netflix announced that it would correct the mistranslation of kimchi after it was pointed out.
On the 3rd, Netflix said, "In order to help overseas viewers who use Chinese characters understand, we wrote it as 'Rabaichai', but we decided that it could cause unnecessary misunderstandings among viewers, so going forward, we decided to write kimchi in Korean content as 'Sinchi' (辛奇)."
Kimchi is just kimchi, so why is it called sinchim???
Did these guys take bribes or something?
