[All] Hook Kwon Jin-young Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison for 'Sleeping Pill Prescription Charges'

The prosecution has demanded a three-year prison sentence for Kwon Jin-young, the CEO of Hook Entertainment (hereafter referred to as Hook), Lee Seung-gi's former agency, who is accused of prescribing sleeping pills under the name of an employee.

It is known that CEO Kwon Jin-young prescribed the psychotropic drug Stilnox (a sleeping pill containing zolpidem) to two employees who did not have sleep disorders by falsely complaining of symptoms between January and July 2022. CEO Kwon did this on three occasions. He is accused of receiving 17 sleeping pills from two employees.
