Singer Seungri, who was released from prison after serving time for the 'Burning Sun incident', denied overseas reports that he would be attending an event in Indonesia at the end of this month under the name of 'Burning Sun Surabaya', saying that it was "groundless", but it has been reported that he was recently spotted at a club while staying in Indonesia.

Another member of Seungri's group reportedly invited other Korean tourists, saying, "Our hotel is five minutes away, let's go and have fun together."

According to the American Hallyu media outlet 'Allkpop' on the 11th, event management company TSV Management announced on their Instagram story on the 9th that an event called 'Burning Sun Surabaya' will be held on the 31st and that Seungri will attend the event as a special guest.

Seungri later denied Allkpop's report, saying to a media outlet, "I want to stay quiet, but my story keeps coming up and I think people are getting tired, so I want to set the record straight." He continued, "I don't even know where the Indonesian region mentioned in the article is, and the name of the club is also used (Burning Sun) and it says I'm going on August 31, but I have no plans to do that."
