If you like chestnuts and tiramisu, you must have heard about CU's latest product, the chestnut tiramisu! I bought it with my own money and will leave an honest review. Here, I will explain in three parts: my pre-order experience, my thoughts on the new product, and a detailed review of the tiramisu.

1. Pre-order review

I was so excited when I first heard about CU’s seasonal take on the classic Italian dessert, Night Tiramisu. It was available for pre-order, and I wanted to be the first to try it.

The pre-order process was smooth and easy. CU provided a clear schedule and I received updates on when the tiramisu would be available. The only downside was that stock was limited, I think ㅠㅠ

2. New product recipe!

Now let’s talk about what makes this chestnut tiramisu stand out . CU has added the warm, nutty flavor of chestnuts to the rich, creamy elements of traditional tiramisu. The chestnut flavor is integrated into both the cream layer and the cake, making every bite sweeter!

3. Night Tiramisu CU Review: Made with My Own Money

Now, here's my honest review of the main event, the CU Night Tiramisu.

🔖First impressions:
The packaging was simple yet elegant, ensuring that the dessert remained intact during transport. As soon as I opened it, I could smell the rich aroma of coffee and chestnuts.

🔖Texture and taste:

The layers of mascarpone and chestnut cream were smooth, not overly sweet, and well-balanced.
The espresso-soaked ladyfingers added a nice bitterness that balanced the dessert, but I would have liked a stronger coffee flavor for a bit more contrast.
The chestnut flavor was subtle yet noticeable. I was thankful that it didn't overpower the tiramisu.

🔖Serving size : A suitable amount to eat as a light dessert after a meal.

🔖 Price Point : Considering the uniqueness of the ingredients and taste, the price was reasonable.
If you want to experience premium desserts, I would say it's worth it haha

4. Final Review

CU's Chestnut Tiramisu adds a seasonal twist to the classic dessert, giving it a delightful taste!!

It wasn't the biggest part, but I felt like the balance of flavors and the quality of ingredients made it worth the price haha
