So today , I'm going to explain the meaning of a suspended game, how the game is resumed, and even the ticket issue all at once!

What does suspended mean?
A suspended game is when a game is interrupted due to rain or other reasons and is later resumed from the point of interruption.
Usually, in baseball games, the result is recognized as it is after 5 innings, but in suspended games, the result of the game cannot be determined because the teams did not have equal chances, so the game is continued later.
How will the game resume?
The first game of the 2024 Korean Series was stopped due to rain in the top of the 6th inning when Samsung was leading 1:0.
But KIA didn't have a chance to attack in the bottom of the 6th. So the game will restart at 4 PM on the 22nd in the top of the 6th with no outs and runners on 1st and 2nd base!
That is, the game continues from then on, and if it ends in the bottom of the 6th inning, the game ends with that result. Of course, if extra innings are needed, they will proceed according to the rules, so I think today's game will be a really important turning point.

Why was it Suspended and not Kangwoo Cold?
Many of you may be wondering why the rain call was not declared. Usually, the game ends in a rain call after going through the 5th inning, but this time, KIA was unable to attack in the bottom of the 6th inning. So, the game was declared suspended so that both teams could finish the game fairly.
If it had rained after the bottom of the 6th inning, Samsung might have won, but it rained before that and the game had to be stopped.
