[All] Accused of being a prisoner of the detention center, sentenced to 4 years in prison

The court sought a 4-year prison sentence for Mr. Park, a former member of the 'Cyberwreck' detention center.

Mr. Park admitted all charges at the trial held that day.

He even submitted a handwritten letter of reflection, saying, "I am deeply reflecting."

Incheon District Court Criminal Division 11 (Judge Kim Saet-byeol) held the final trial of Mr. Park, the operator of the YouTuber Detox Center, at around 11:30 AM on the 23rd. Mr. Park was indicted on charges of defamation and insult under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

Mr. Park appeared in court that day wearing all black and black glasses.

When the judge asked, "Have there been any changes to your name, home address, etc?", he jumped up from his seat and said, "Nothing has changed."

On this day, the prosecution requested the court to sentence Park to 4 years in prison and a fine of 211,421,520 won.

"He insulted the victims on a total of five occasions. He actively posted videos containing false information to damage their reputation," he said.

He continued, "They interfered with the management activities of the victims' agency," and emphasized, "Please also consider the fact that they operated a paid membership system and that the content of the videos was about the victims' appearance, personality, and romantic relationships, indicating that they continued to commit crimes."

Previously, the fandom concentration camp created and distributed content with false information about EXO's Suho and Espa's Karina.

This also brought economic benefits.

The agency, SM Entertainment, took issue with this.

Park's attorney stated, "I admit to all the facts of the indictment. It was an act of negligence and not an act solely for the purpose of generating income." He added, "The defendant is currently doing volunteer work and receiving mental treatment."

He continued, "We plan to reach an agreement with the victim.

He said, "We have tried mediation in civil trials, but it is difficult to reach an agreement," and expressed his intention to reach an agreement, saying, "We will try to reach an agreement until the end."

The lawyer explained, "Please give me enough time for the sentencing. I have a surgery scheduled for mid-November." When the judge asked, "Is there any problem with your attendance?" Park replied, "Yes."
