The emotional wound was huge~~
A loan certificate found in Mr. Cho's wallet
In addition to the stated 100 million won, please pay me back the money instead.

[My Daily = Reporter Chaeyeon Kim] Lee Young-sook (69), the CEO of Na Kyung Mushroom Farm, who appeared on the Netflix entertainment program 'Black and White Chef', is suspected of not paying back 100 million won borrowed from an acquaintance. The Cho family claimed, "CEO Lee has not paid back the debt for 14 years and has even received a court ruling, but the repayment has not yet been made." On the other hand, CEO Lee's side stated that the borrowed money has already been paid, and the two sides are continuing to disagree.
In 2010, CEO Lee, who had won the Presidential Award, pursued a business related to shiitake mushrooms. Mr. Cho lent him 100 million won to help with the business, and CEO Lee wrote a loan agreement. The loan agreement included the following: “This money will be used as the purchase price for a factory site for a government-supported project.” However, CEO Lee failed to repay the money by the due date of April 2011, and Mr. Cho died in July of that year.
While sorting through his belongings, Cho's family found a loan receipt in his wallet and filed a civil suit against him to demand the return of the money he borrowed. In 2012, the court ruled that Lee must repay the money he borrowed at an annual interest rate of 8.45% and that he must repay it at an annual interest rate of 20% thereafter. However, Lee did not repay the money, citing a lack of money, and Cho's family seized some of the money and recovered it. However, the amount recovered at that time was only about 19 million won, which was less than the principal.

After that, in 2014, CEO Lee appeared on 'Korean Food Battle 2' and won the prize money of 100 million won, but Cho's family claimed that the repayment has not been made yet. Cho's family won the lawsuit in 2018 for a seizure and collection order, but CEO Lee has not paid the remaining amount. Cho's family complained of psychological distress, saying that CEO Lee has a total debt of over 300 million won, including the 100 million won stated on the loan agreement and 50 million won that Cho paid on his behalf.
Cho's side also said that the statute of limitations for claims for the right to subrogation expires in October 2023, so they can no longer claim the amount paid in lieu of joint guarantee. Representative Lee's side refuted all claims as malicious slander, saying, "We have already paid back all the money we borrowed," and threatened legal action.
