<The Lighting Store> is a mystery psychological thriller webtoon by Kang Full, set in a strange store on the border between the afterlife and the living world.

- A man with dirt coming out of his ears
- A woman whose fingernails turn inward
- A man with water flowing from his body

They are all seriously ill patients in a coma, and the lighting store is a place where they experiment with their life and death choices.

- The shop owner, like a judge, suggests glowing light bulbs to the customers.
- The person who bought the light can come back to life,
- Those who give up will go to the afterlife.

The Lighting Store is not just a scary place, it is a deep story that explores life and death, love and redemption, and the nature of humanity.

2. Summary of the ending of the Lighting Store webtoon (Spoiler alert!)

Webtoons unfold the stories of characters with different backgrounds in an omnibus format. In the end, all of these stories are connected, leaving a touching aftertaste.

Main characters and ending
- Jungseok (water man)
Jung-seok, who was in a coma due to an accident, apologizes to the victims and disappears after completing his atonement.

- People who came back to life
- Hyun-ju (high school girl) wakes up thanks to her mother's love.
- Ji-woong (alley man) survives with the help of Jung-seok.
- Hyunmin (Ahn Kyung-nam) regains consciousness thanks to his lover's sacrificial love.

-Yoon Seon-hae and her older sister:

3. Review of Disney Plus Drama <Lighting Store>

I'll summarize my review of the OTT version of <Lighting Store>, up to episode 4!

Horror and mystery, did they do a good job?
The drama faithfully recreates the original work's supernatural and eerie atmosphere.
In particular, the directing, which is faithful to the thriller and horror genres, creates quite an intense tension. However…

Cons: Direction and narrative tempo
- There were many comments that the tempo in the daily scenes was somewhat slow and the sense of immersion was low.
- The relationships between characters and the narrative were not explored in depth, so I felt the limitations of the limited length of 8 episodes.

But the cast is the best!
- Joo Ji-hoon (Lighting store owner): Reinterpreted with a young and sophisticated image, unlike the original.
- Park Bo-young (Nurse Yeong-ji): Her delicate emotional acting stands out.
- The chemistry between Kim Seol-hyun (Ji-young) and Um Tae-goo (Hyun-min) was better than expected!
