[All] Starbucks Siren Order Cancellation Before Store Order Approval
Starbucks Korea announced on the 17th that it will introduce an order cancellation function to its O2O ( Oneline to Offline ) service, Siren Order, starting on the 19th.
Starbucks' Siren Order is a service that allows you to order products through the app and then pick them up when they are ready.
Since its introduction in 2014, it has been used more than 500 million times, and it has become so active that one out of three customers orders through Siren Order.
First of all, Siren Order cancellation is possible before the store approves the customer's order. Since the drink is manufactured immediately after the order is approved, cancellation is limited.
For coffee beans , MD , etc. that are not manufactured beverages, orders are automatically cancelled if the customer does not collect them on the same day.
To cancel an order, click the 'Cancel Order' button in the Siren Order order details.
This order cancellation update also applies to orders from Starbucks’ delivery service, Deliverus. Deliverus orders can now be cancelled before a delivery rider is dispatched, even if the order has been approved at the store.
As with the Siren Order, it can be cancelled from the order status screen.
Additionally, Starbucks is strengthening advance notifications that inform customers of the expected wait time from ordering through Siren Order to receiving their drinks.
Starbucks is displaying a pop-up message to customers before they pay for their Siren Order when there is a surge in orders during certain times and it is expected that a significant amount of time will be needed to receive their drinks.
This was subdivided into 15 and 20 minutes under the condition that a pop-up would be displayed, which was expected to take more than 20 minutes.
