Monsta X's Shownu: "A New Challenge in Live Content"... Jinwoo Covers "Kedeheon" [Comprehensive]

Monsta X's Shownu boarded the 'Limousine Service'.

Shownu appeared as a guest on 'Limousine Service', which was released on the KBS Kpop YouTube channel at 6 PM on the 2nd.

Shownu, who was the third member of the group to appear on 'Limousine Service' following members Kihyun and Jooheon, opened the show with 'Catch Me Now', a track from the group's new mini-album 'THE X' that was released the day before. He also performed 'I Am a Firefly', which was sung by Hwang Ga Ram and drew much attention, and 'Bad Dreams' by Teddy Swimm, showing off his signature sweet and 'pop' vocal charm.

The full-on talk reflected on the process of preparing for the 10th anniversary concert and album. He confessed, "When we just ate out with the members and met for a quick drink in the evening, it was fine, but when we met in the practice room and practiced together on edge, it felt a bit strange." He continued, "There are some aspects of practice that shouldn't be done too comfortably. Meeting on edge felt new, but after practicing countless times, I've gotten used to it now. I think we practice and synchronize our choreography in a very sensitive manner."

He chose the press conference held last July as the moment when he truly felt the 10th anniversary. Shownu said, "I think it really hit home during the press conference. I think it really hit home when I was answering official questions in the conference room."

They also shared behind-the-scenes footage of their 10th anniversary concert '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X', which took place in Korea and Japan in July and August, respectively. Shownu confessed, "On the first day, I didn't know what to do because it had been so long since I saw my fans. I was deeply moved, but also awkward. I wanted to be honest about my feelings and emotions, but I couldn't define them. It felt strange, but also touching."

Shownu, the lead vocalist of Monsta X but also the main dancer. Having mainly appeared in performances and variety shows like 'mukbang', he confessed about his appearance on 'Limousine Service', "It feels unfamiliar and awkward. I haven't sung as much as I thought I would. I've mostly done dance competitions and performances, so performing live like this feels like a new challenge and a refreshing act(?) for me." He continued, "It could have been a challenging and burdensome broadcast, but I prepared with the thought that if I comfortably showed off my vocals, I think it would work out somehow."
